Love your Ruffstrid works! I've been too lazy to say much so I just fave your pix but they are still awesome since this is a brand new pairing for me. Only just been intrigued in it recently. Anyhow, great work and keep it up. They are so good together and seem more natural than Hiccup/Astrid although I like that too. I will read some Ruffstrid fanfiction about them as soon as possible. Love it!! :)

It's amazing how these characters really took off in popularity. Why is it that the background characters always seem to be more interesting then the lead ones?

I'm not quite sure why background characters get more attention. It could be because they can usually be a bit more fun, since the lead character has to be a bit more "regular" in order for more people to identify with them, so the secondary characters get to be zany and fun! X3

I think you hit the nail on the head. I guess that's why I like games that you can make your own lead character. That way you can have a lead character that isn't bland (to you) and a bunch of neat secondary characters.
