I tried my hardest to get the anatomy right on this one. It was a very important piece for me, for what others would say are only silly reasons.

A while ago they announced Hellcats was canceled. This is a sendoff piece for the series from television, but it will forever remain in my heart. I shall continue to love it and create more art for it! And possibly a fanfic. What? Mag doing fanfic? I didn't say anything shutupstoplookingatme!

<start rant>
*insert whiny voice* Whyyyyyyyy did Hellcats have to get caaaaaaaanceled!?!? Now there's, like, this big hole in my heart!! Oh my heart!!! :iconcryingplz:

Okay. Honestly, I loved this show. I thought it was fantastic, not just for the fun eyecandy and subtext, but I honestly loved the characters and felt the plot progression was not only well-planned, but good and consistent. I laughed, cried, gasped, and shouted many, many times over the course of its 22 episode run. The characters had depth and choices, conflict and motivations, and they followed through consistently from episode to episode. But no. Only Glee lesbian cheerleaders get any love. Glee couldn't keep a character consistent if Barbra Streisand's life depended on it. HARRUMPH!

I know, the series should have never been cancelled (I don't know why they cancelled it in the first place... the story was good, and the cast was quite good too, especially Ashley. Let's face it, she did a great job portraying her character [it was her best performance ever since The Suite of Zack and Cody, and well, maybe HSM]). I really like the way you did this drawing. The anatomy is good and the colours are solid. Congratulations.

They just had bad ratings. I think it was because people were making judgements about it without actually watching it. That was my experience with friends who I brought it up with. And I completely agree, Ashley was very surprising in her role; she was even my favorite character!

This series just proves that Ashley is a great actress, as well as a singer and a rocker, my friend. She has everything to be one of Hollywood's top actresses. Wouldn't be surprised if she won an Emmy or an Oscar, you know?

Well, maybe in the U.S. but back here in Europe, the series was quite famous, especially in Portugal, Spain and England. It was one fo the most popular series that people watched on TV.

You know, I think that at least they should continue the story in a comic book. That way, we would find out what happens to each of the characters, you know?
