I think it’s silly when shape shifters transform and still have clothes on. So in my head, Red had an angsty, snowy, naked realization that she’s a werewolf. In Snow’s arms.
Let’s call this a “How Mag Wishes the Scene Had Gone.”
I completely agree with you that a shape shifter wouldn't transform with their clothing on. Other than to keep it PG. Unless every piece of clothing they put on actually retain magic in them and allows the the shifting to occur together. Otherwise the werewolves are more magic than a contagion transferred through bites which is what I've been led to believe from the premise of the show
That could be a possibility. I mean this wouldn't be the first time a shapeshifter is able to affect their clothing. I just have a preference for how I like it to go. X3
That also bothered me--that the clothes are still intact. Maybe it's from too many cheesy, self-absorbed movies that keep showing half-naked, attractive people that also make that tiny detail annoying. But I honestly love how you showed this--Red crying to Snow White after all that she had done to her True Love. Despite not seeing this, I can totally imagine it happening on the show--the grief and comfort show well. These two are some of my favorite friendship pairings on the show--they instantly became great friends, and I really hope that we'll see more of them now--the actress that plays Red became a regular. Great job!
