A few hours. Longer than usual because I actually had a hard time with the perspective.
As for the film, I thought it was fine and fun. It had its own feel and story and did alright with condensing the comic, though I felt ultimately Scott ending up with Ramona in the film was unsatisfying, unlike the comic.
Oh, boy, this is good! The concept's great and the execution is good -especially the play of colours and lights. I like the atmosphere you've created here and how you've captured the moment.
The only 'but' is that I don't think I'd have recognized the characters without seeing the title, even though Kim's clothes in the foreground are such a huge hint. But that's probably because I'm thick ^^u
Hehe, thanks! I'm glad you liked it, and I agree that the characters aren't readily recognizable. It was hard to get the hair to look right and then account for lying down and gravity. I shall try to make the characters more recognizable in the future. :3
Thanks. I had done her freckles, but lost them as I was working on the lighting. As for Knives, I couldn't find references for Asian features in that angle, so I went with what I knew. Her hair was the hardest to translate in that angle as well, but I did my best to try to imitate her "turned 18" hair, also taking into consideration gravity and such. Thanks for the crit! I'll try better next time.
