This is for my Fanart100 of Kigo based on these prompts
This is for the prompt "Sight."
I want to protect her from everyone...
***
This one...this one I drew several hours after I drew the first four, that's why it's considerably different in theme and execution, methinks.
I'm an unusually optimistic and tolerant person. But I have my breaking points as well. Sometimes I sit in a corner of a building while I wait for class to start, and draw in privacy. A friend approached me today, and I didn't think to cover what I was drawing (Taste.) To put it mildly, the "friend" had a bad reaction to it, and began to scold me. I just stared up at her silently, giving no reaction (this wouldn't be the first time this had happened). Then she grabbed the drawing and it was ripped by "accident." I punched her, grabbed my things and left in silence. Lesson she learned: You can criticize my art as much as you want, but the moment you touch/rip/break/damage my drawing, that's where my peaceful, understanding smile fades.
I need someone to protect me from the stupidity of this world...
"I punched her, grabbed my things and left in silence." good on ya! personally, I probably would've broken something of hers in retaliation, but I'd be the first to admit I have a horrible temper, and I've never been in a situation like that with a "friend"
the things you draw are beautiful and I would kill (okay, maybe not kill, but definitely injure) to have even a fraction of your talent and vision
a wonderfully compelling piece

(8)it would be really great, if you drowned in a lake/or put a bag over your head and watched you suffocate/I'd celebrate at your wake, I'd bake myself a cake/cause you're my favourite person that I love to hate
Yeah, friends don't always act like friends. Sometimes there's disagreements that neither one can find the middle ground for. But, you move on and you keep going and it's all good now.
Aww, you flatter me too much. Seriously, anyone can draw as long as they just take seriously the large amounts of time it takes to practice.
God that makes me sick to my stomach... the fact your friend like spazzed out on you and like ripped your drawing accident or not...I would have killed her..
And I am deeply sorry that happened to you..
I mean even if it does have a girl pairing and you don't like it.. I mean its still art ya know? Don't disrespect any type of art its beautiful and takes time.

"In sleep he sang to me, in dreams he came. That voice that calls to me, and speaks my name."
Thanks. It really takes some understanding people to undo what one not understanding person caused. It's funny that this happened so long ago, yet still carries the same weight.
I hate it when people get all homophobic. I just can not and will not tolerate it. Even if (and sometimes especially if) its a drawing. I mean, its just a friggin drawing. I sorry to hear that that happened to you. If it had been me, I woulda left them as a cringing ball on the floor. There just is too much of that stuff going around to let that slip.
Anywho:
I really like this drawing. The protection factor is great. Shego is supposed to be this tough bitch, and yet she hides the one thing in her life that she loves from all of the evil in the world. Just shows the soft side of her. And, even though everyone has said it, I really love the way you drew her hair.

Yeah. Some people can be pretty harsh about sexual orientation. I have to deal with it constantly where I live, because it's such a conservative place. But I try, and still manage. ^^
And I'm glad you like it. I do love Shego's capability to protect the one she loves. It's supposed to mean that. And even though hair is pretty feeble, really, it's still symbolic of how she could protect Kim if she wanted. ^^
Very harsh, especially in my high school (well, high school in general, really). I have never been in a place thats as harsh about sexuality as my school. Its good to know that you can deal with it, though!
Yes. Even though she hates to admit it, you can tell that shes a major softie on the inside.
