Hey all!
I'm in the middle of finals right now and only have two left! It's time for feelings of happiness as the semester comes to an end. Not only that but the Summer promises to be one of awesomeness. This summer I'm set to work on some independent features, and that just makes me zuper duper exzited. 8DDD
I'll be working a lot, but this will hopefully leave me with time to draw and work on other things, as my schedule will be film, eat, draw or play games, sleep, in that order.
Speaking of games, I'm in the middle of playing Final Fantasy XII right now. It's been out for a long while, I know, but it still takes me a while to catch up to stuff, or I like to wait until I can buy them at $20.
I have to say it now, I *love*
Larsa! He is so adorable and intelligent, and his endless storehouse of Hi-Potions is very handy in a fight. I don't cosplay very often or very many characters (in the past I've been Rukia and Toph) but I like him so much I feel inclined to cosplay him. Lol! And this would be my first crossplay. :3
Ah! The secret's out! Mag's an occasional cosplayer! XD
And this segues into my next topic. I don't go to many Anime Conventions. I basically only go to one, in fact, because it is the one closest to where I live and I don't have the time or money to travel far for a Con. Besides, it's a nice one, big enough to be fun, but small enough to not get too crazy. And maybe I'm jumping the gun here, since it's not until October, but anyone here going to
Anime Banzai in Utah? It'd be fun to meet people and such, so let me know if you were planning to go. I'll probably be dressed as Larsa. Or Near. I usually do a complicated costume and then a simple one. XDDD

I hate it when everyone says that "OH ALL FINAL FANTASY GUYS LOOK LIKE WOMENZ!!11!" But Larsa was the only case during my entire play through the serieswhen I was like "Holy Crap, she's a guy?!" I'll give them Tidus, maybe, just MAYBE, if you spin around a few times and squint really hard while covering your left eye he could, if the lighting's right, look like a woman.
