Description

So I've been working on a few different drawings but have had a block this whole time and nothing seems to be coming out right. This is the first image that I remotely liked enough to post, and it's still very simple. Bleh.

BEWARE, THERE MIGHT BE SOME SPOILERS OF BIOSHOCK 2 FURTHER DOWN

Why:
I finished Bioshock 2 recently. Say what you will of it and how you feel it matched up to the first one, but I enjoyed it heaps more and I will tell you why. Yes, the first game had better villains and a better twist (the second one didn't have a twist at all, really) and yes the first one was more political, as it should've been, and the second one's gameplay didn't change all that much. I agree with all that, though it didn't bug me. HOWEVER, I felt the second one's story was FAR more emotional, which allowed me to invest myself into it a lot more. While in Bioshock 1, the big twist does explain why he's really there, for the most part he felt like a protagonist without wants or a mission, which didn't allow me to connect with him as the person I'm supposed to live and experience this through. Subject Delta had all that, a reason to fight and go forward from the get-go, and I truly began to love Eleanor as I worked my way to her. Agree, disagree, I really don't give a crap, I LOVED it and I loved Eleanor.

And I teared up at the end. :">

*****

BIGGER SPOILER: While in 2 there was no twist, I felt completely emotionally floored when I realized my choices affected Eleanor's life. That was just...whoa...

I think that, in the end, Delta didn't mind that he was going to die. He'd saved Eleanor and the other girls and, in doing so, wiped a little of the red off of his ledger. He could die laughing.
